The "us" of the Church is active in Sri Lanka, in the Korean peninsula and in the Philippines, as well as in the other countries of Asia, as a leaven of reconciliation and peace.The Holy Father is probably referring to the work of peace being done by the bishops in Mindanao where dialogue with Muslim separatists are still on-going.
