UPDATE! Commemorative Medals recalled!

I noticed it too but did not mind it.

Well, obviously, the Holy See does not want the name "IESUS" be spelled as "LESUS".

So they are recalling the medals.

Like this one.

The Latin language does not have a letter "J".  The Holy Name of Jesus is spelled as "Iesus".

This is the correct rendition, like how the Jesuits write it.

  1. Vere dignum et iustum est ad corrigendam errorem. I admire the Vatican for correcting a seemingly unnoticeable error as this. Let us pray that the Finger of God will enlighten the Vatican to be more circumspect in correcting gross errors applied in its implementation of the Novus Ordus Missae. Veni Sancte Spiritus!
